  • Right to Lodge a Complaint: If you believe your privacy rights have been violated, you can
    complain to our Information Officer or the Information Regulator.

How to Submit a POPIA Request
To exercise your rights, please follow these steps:

  1. Complete Our Online Request Form (see below), providing all required details.
  2. Alternatively, send a detailed request by email to info@throbtek.co.za with:
  • Your full name and contact details
  • Type of request (access, correction, deletion, objection, withdrawal of consent)
  • Description of the personal information or processing you want to address
  • Preferred method of receiving the information (email, printed copy, inspection)
  1. We may ask you to provide a copy of your ID or passport to verify your identity before
    processing your request.
  2. Upon receipt, we will acknowledge your request and provide an estimated timeframe for
    response (usually within 30 calendar days).

Fees and Charges
Most requests are handled free of charge. However, if your request requires significant effort or resources (e.g., extensive data retrieval or printing), we will inform you of any reasonable fees before proceeding.

What We May Ask From You
To protect your personal information and prevent unauthorized access, we may require you to verify your identity. This might include submitting a certified copy of your ID or passport.

Response Times
We commit to responding to all valid requests within 30 calendar days. If your request is complex or voluminous, we will notify you if we need additional time.
