- Delivery Guidelines
- At Throb Tek PTY LTD, we strive to keep all website information accurate and up to date. In the case of product shortages or shipping delays, we will make every effort to notify you as soon as possible.
- Our standard delivery service is limited to addresses within South Africa. For international customers, we typically ship via airmail. Delivery timeframes vary, but most international parcels arrive within 2 to 3 weeks of dispatch. Please note that customs processing and peak season delays are beyond our control. Courier options are available internationally on request, and pricing is determined individually.
- To ensure a secure delivery, the individual receiving the parcel may be asked to present valid identification at the time of receipt.
- You are responsible for being present at the delivery location to accept your order.
- If someone else accepts delivery on your behalf, it will be assumed they are authorised to do so. However, we may, at our discretion, require that only the original purchaser receive the goods, regardless of any third-party authorisation.
- If you are unable to receive your order personally, please inform us in writing. We may request additional documentation (such as a copy of your ID or credit card used for the transaction) and possibly an alternative delivery address where you can receive the parcel.
- If the payment was made using a credit card, we may require the card used to be presented upon delivery, along with a signed acknowledgment.
- If we are unable to complete the delivery due to your unavailability, and a second trip is required, a redelivery fee may apply.
- Should there be no one present at the time of delivery, the driver will retain the order and leave a note with further instructions. The driver may also contact you to reschedule the delivery.
- As deliveries are handled by third-party couriers, Throb Tek PTY LTD cannot be held responsible for any losses, delays, or damages caused by the delivery service providers or their agents.
- Product Terms
- Responsibility for the products transfers to you once they are delivered to your chosen address. However, ownership remains with Throb Tek PTY LTD until full payment has been received. In case of non-payment, we reserve the right to retrieve the products.
- Product images and colours shown online are as close to accurate as possible, but screen variations may affect how they appear. We cannot be held liable for any such discrepancies.
- 2.3 Sample Policy
Samples may be ordered for inspection or testing purposes.
Items priced under R50 (excl. VAT) are non-returnable.
Items priced at R50 (excl. VAT) or more can be returned for credit or refund, provided
they are in original condition and packaging.
All returns must include the original invoice for processing.
Please allow up to 7 working days for quality checks on returned samples before any
refunds or credit notes are issued.
Damaged or altered samples will not be accepted for return.
EFT refunds are processed weekly, every Friday. - 2.4 Artwork & Branding
. We require artwork in vector format and PC-compatible files.
2.5 Guidelines for Artwork Submission:
- Convert all text to curves to avoid font issues.
- If we are assisting with typesetting, please share the font details and size.
- For multi-colour branding (excluding digital printing), supply a colour-separated file.
- Accepted formats include: .cdr (black), .eps, .ai, .pdf, .fh, high-res .jpg or .tiff.
- Unaccepted formats include: Word documents, .gif, .jpeg (under 600dpi), and PowerPoint files.
- Branding production only begins once we receive: a 60% deposit and final approval of the artwork.
- All final files and approvals should be sent directly to your dedicated Account Executive at Throb Tek PTY LTD.
- We cannot guarantee delivery timelines if layout approval or proof of payment is delayed.
- For orders paid via cheque, branding will commence only after the cheque has cleared (applies to non-credit clients). Proof of payment can be emailed to info@throbtek.co.za to speed up the process.
- Any revisions to your approved artwork may result in delivery delays. A revised layout will be sent for re-approval before proceeding 2.9 Warranty Policy
- Standard warranties do not cover regular wear and tear.
- Any product that has been altered, misused, or installed contrary to instructions will not be eligible for warranty claims.
